This year’s European Conference in Educational Research (ECER), with the topic Education in an Age of Uncertainty: Memory and Hope for the Future, was held at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, from August 26 to 30. The conference gathered more than 2200 researchers from all over the world, providing a platform for the exchange of the latest knowledge, ideas and methodological approaches in education.
Five members of the PEERSolvers team presented two research papers that are the result of an empirical study conducted over the past year. The first paper, One Attempt to Measure Collaboration Between Students During Group Work, deals with the research of dimensions and indicators used to assess the quality of collaboration between students in the group work process. The second paper, titled Integrating Citizenship Competence’ Assessment Frameworks: Complementarities and Differences in the Educational Context of Serbia, presents an analysis of the one-dimensionality of the items used to assess citizenship competence in a pilot study in Serbia.
Participation in the ECER conference allowed researchers of the PEERSolvers team to present the results of their work to the international academic community, exchange experience with colleagues from different countries, and receive valuable feedback that they will use for further development of their research projects.
