Open science is the movement to make scientific research and its dissemination accessible to all levels of society. Open science is transparent and accessible knowledge that is shared and developed through collaborative networks. It encompasses practices such as publishing open research, campaigning for open access, encouraging scientists to practice broader dissemination and engagement in science and generally making it easier to publish, access and communicate scientific knowledge. Open Science implies that all the phases and products of the research process are accessible and transparent – from methodology planning, resources and instruments used, to databases. The Open Science Framework (OSF) is an open source software project that facilitates open collaboration in science research. PsyArXiv is a preprint repository for the psychological sciences that allows researchers to upload manuscripts prior to peer review.

In line with the tenets of Open science, the PEERSolvers project will preregister studies on the OSF platform, as well as make preprints available on PSyArXiv. Registered studies from the project can be found below.
