Participation in the EARLI conference (Bari, 2024)

Members of the PEERSolvers team took part in the international EARLI conference (The European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction), held in Bari from September 11 to 13. This year’s EARLI conference with the topic Walking the Talk: Co-constructing the politics of meaning, diversity and learning, brought together experts from the field of education around the world.

Five members of our team presented two papers in which the results of the project so far were presented. The paper entitled PEER Training: Building successful collaborative problem solving skills in adolescents was presented as part of the symposium Coconstructing meaning about teaching and learning: How to make research findings matter? The presentation of this paper gave the team members the opportunity to introduce the participants to PEER training and exchange important insights with leading experts in the field of education. Also, Professor Aleksandar Baucal, the supervisor of our project, held a plenary lecture entitled Learning and development in social interaction: fruitful history and future directions.

Participation in the EARLI conference provided an opportunity for researchers of the PEERSolvers team to present the results of their work to the international academic community, as well as to exchange experiences and receive valuable feedback from colleagues from other countries.
