PEERSolvers at the international conference Technics and Informatics in Education (TIE 2022)

The PEERSolvers project was presented at the regular 9th international conference Technics and Informatics in Education (TIE 2022), traditionally hosted by the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.

PEERSolvers at TIE 2022: the Round Table

After the official opening of the conference, a round table was organized where our project was presented, as well as the project DigiPsyRes: Enhancing digital and psychological resilience through peer networking in the online environment in times of crises. The audience included members from the academic community, as well as professional assistant teachers from schools and preschool institutions. In a friendly atmosphere, we considered the applicability of the results, the common points of both projects, as well as the possibilities for future cooperation. After the presentation of the projects, there was an active discussion about important issues such as the impact of the pandemic on the ability of students to solve problems with cooperation, the most effective training aimed at developing tolerance among young people, or the small number of opportunities for collaborative learning in our educational system.

PEERSolvers at TIE 2022: Symposium

On the second day of the conference, we presented project goals, methodology and work dynamics in a session focused on digital and psychological resilience. This topic gathered, somewhat unexpectedly for a rainy and cold Saturday afternoon, a rather large and lively audience, both in the hall and online. The hybrid format made it possible for colleagues from Italy and Poland to be with us, in addition to the “domestic” ex-YU audience. Meetings with colleagues who, like us, deal with the possibilities of supporting peer cooperation and resilience through the use of digital resources were particularly significant. This topic brought together multidisciplinary international research teams, and opened up opportunities for inter-project cooperation.
